ATTORNEY

Amy Weems is originally from Jasper, Alabama. She is admitted to the Alabama Bar and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and obtained a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. While at Cumberland, she was the Student Materials Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and the Associate Director for the Client Counseling Competition and member of the Trial Advocacy Board. After graduation, Mrs. Weems has primarily practiced in the area of insurance defense. Prior to joining us, she worked at GEICO as an in-house claims attorney.

Mrs. Weems is a summa cum laude graduated from the University of Alabama with B.S. in psychology and minor in English. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. While at UA, she was a member of the Million Dollar Band.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Phillip, and children, Drake and Arden.
